Floating Bookmark Windows

Consider using a floating bookmark window to present long lists of links in those cases where someone might want to hop around. In our applications, those places would include:

It is very convenient to keep that little bookmark window open while hopping around. The use of text (yes, text) links is really great because they change color, and that helps keep track of what you've looked at without the same foibles as using frames to keep the outline visible.

To schmaltz it up for the Artemis Project, we could call this a NAV AID (rocket scientist parlance for "navigation aid") window. We offer to pop up a NAV AID for the user upon request; it doesn't have to be the default screen configuration.
