Role in the Artemis Project:

Doug Cross is currently the Artemis Project's online contact for the Microsoft Network. He serves this function as a member of the Electronic Communications Technical Committee. Doug also shares his insights on various topics on the Artemis Project discussion groups.

As well as a valuable member of the various business-related teams in the Artemis Project, Doug is also the Loadmaster for the Reference Mission, in which function he is developing a database for analyzing what goes up on what launch for what mission at what cost, etc.

Professional Experience:

Doug Cross has had 25 years of increasing responsibility and achievements successfully managing and developing Information Systems and Services. He has a strong record of developing and implementing organizations and solutions, resulting in positive business impact.

Doug currently runs an independent contracting and consulting firm called Cross Systems in Fort Lauderdale. He consults various major firms, especially transportation-related ones, concerning contingency planning and communications. Another part of his company's work is designing Data Communication networks and computer linking systems for major firms.

In the past, Doug has served in various programming, analytical, and technical support positions, as well as having extensive managerial experience.
